Sales Rep – Logistics Company
Sales Rep Jobs UAE
hey Sales Rep Jobs UAE, We need someone who can actually sell. Not just talk about selling – actually close deals and bring in money.
Here’s what you’ll do for Sales Rep Jobs UAE
You’re responsible for hitting your Sales Rep Jobs UAE numbers every month. No excuses, no “almost got there” – either you make your targets or you don’t.
Your main job is finding companies that need to move stuff around the UAE. Could be a small importer bringing in electronics from China, could be a big manufacturer shipping out to Saudi. Doesn’t matter – if they’ve got cargo, they’re a potential customer.
You’ll spend a lot of time on the phone. Some people will hang up on you. Others will waste your time with meetings that go nowhere. That’s part of it. But some will actually need what we’re selling, and that’s where you make your commission.
When you find someone interested, you need to figure out exactly what they ship, where it goes, how often, what their current setup costs them, and what problems they’re having. Then you put together a quote that makes sense for both of us.
The relationship stuff:
Once they sign, you become their main contact. When their shipment gets delayed, they call you. When they want to add more services, they call you. When accounting needs to collect payment, guess who helps with that conversation?
You’ll negotiate pricing with clients. Some will try to squeeze every dollar out of you. Others will pay asking price if the service is right. Learning the difference takes time.
Paperwork and reporting:
Every week you’ll tell your manager what deals are close, what fell through, and how much revenue is coming in next month. Don’t pad the numbers – we all figure it out eventually anyway.
You need to know what other logistics companies are charging and what services they’re pushing. Go to the trade shows, read the industry websites, talk to people who work at other companies.
Working with everyone else:
Our operations team actually moves the cargo. Our customer service handles day-to-day questions. Finance deals with payments. Your job is making sure everyone stays on the same page about what we promised each client.
What good looks like:
More clients paying us more money. Existing customers renewing their contracts instead of shopping around. Fewer complaints reaching management. Deal margins that actually make sense.
Keep your client files updated. When you eventually leave or get promoted, whoever takes over your accounts shouldn’t have to start from scratch.
This is full-time work. Base salary plus commission structure we’ll discuss in the interview.
